William Wade, a menswear blogger and and half of The Wade Twins, knows his stuff when it comes to fashion. His interest in style is clear from his carefully curated Instagram platform where he showcases men's fashion at its finest. We asked him a few questions to get to know him a little better.
What was the first item of clothing you ever bought for yourself?
Wow this would have been a long time ago, I started getting into fashion when I started my first ever job in retail and I purchased a 'Bench' (Yes Bench) Wind breaker jacket.Any fashion faux-pas you’d rather forget?
Too many to count on one hand but one would have to be my bright red supra high top trainers! They looked like Space boots, what was I thinking? Haha
Tell us about the oldest item in your wardrobe?
I have a vintage Kahki army jacket I purchased from a market in Vietnam, it cost maybe £2 and is easily 50 years old. What’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever bought, clothing wise?
My Leather Pilot jacket from A french brand called 'Eden Park Paris' was a little over £650 but it was so worth it and will last me for years to come. How do you style your Yogi shoes?
All depends on which ones I am wearing, however I tend to keep things pretty simple and pair them up with chinos and a denim shirt. What do your Yogi shoes say about you?
Comfort is key.Yogi was born in the 90s, what were you doing, what were you wearing and what were you listening to back in the day?
Well I am only 27, born in 1992 so I was probably running around school, causing a nuisance and listening to whatever my parents were playing. This season you’ll be wearing?
My favourite high street brands that are currently French Connection and Ralph Lauren.
Who are your style heroes?
Tom Ford, David Beckham and Ryan Reynolds
What fragrance do you wear?
I am huge fan of Penhaligons, I have 6 different scents from them for every occasion! Helfati is my personal fave from their collection.
What can we expect to see for summer?
Lots of Linen shirts and baggier trousers.
